Fort Lincoln Trolley- A restored trolley car offers a unique trip to Fort Lincoln State Park. Departing from the 3rd Street Station in Mandan through the scenic Heart River Valley to its station at Fort Lincoln State Park. Open daily from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. For more information contact 663-9018.

Custer Home Tours- Relive 1875 at historic Fort Lincoln State Park. Visit the home of General George and Libby Custer. Tour the commissary (gift shop), granary and troop barracks. Open daily from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.

June 29-30 7:30 pm- Kaleidoscope Variety Show- Comedy, chorus line, choir and pit orchestra, patriotic music all come together for an exceptional variety show located at Mandan High School Auditorium. Tickets are $8 adults/$3 child. For more information contact 226-3797. Sponsored by the Musicians Association.

8:00 pm- Official Mandan Rodeo Days Dance at the Lonesome Dove on the strip. Music by Ashley Buchart, beer garden, food concessions and open patio. Enjoy an evening with friends after the Mandan Rodeo.

July 1st 11:00 am to 2:00 pm- Old Fashioned 4th of July Picnic at Starion Financial Bank. Join us at the Starion Bank parking lot for some fun at our 1st old fashioned picnic. Open to the public.

Art In The Park

Located in Dykshoorn Park and Heritage Park on West Main Street. The schedule for 2011 is July 3 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and July 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

8:00 am- Mandan Rodeo Slack Competition- free admission, Dacotah Centennial Park

10:00 am- Mandan Merchants “Rodeo Days Celebration Sales"- Shop and rope in some great bargains and western hospitality during our annual celebration. Shop the "strip" and downtown.

10:00 am to 7:00 pm- Double M Helicopter Rides- Location on 3rd St. SE (west of McDonalds) on the strip. Tour the Missouri River and Heart River Valleys. Fly over the parade route during the 4th of July. A truly unique experience.

11:00 am- Motorcycle Stunt Show- Cycle Hutt on the strip in Mandan. Enjoy the day watching motorcyclists perform stunts in the parking lot.

Noon - Miss Rodeo Mandan Pageant Lunch- Seven Seas Hotel & Waterpark. Contestant speeches and modeling. Tickets $15 in advance. Call 701-527-4324 or e-mail mandanpageant@hotmail.com before June 26th.

4:00 pm - Pitch Fork Fondue- Moose Lodge, 111 11th Ave NE. Enjoy a steak dinner and all the trimmings during Rodeo Days. Open to the public.

5:00 pm- Mandan Rodeo Days Trade & Craft Show- Shop our Mandan Rodeo western craft and trade show. Vendors include jewelry, boots, clothing, furniture, tack, saddles and more. Located inside the gates at Dacotah Centennial Park. Vendors will be open through the Rodeo performance for your shopping convenience.

5:00 pm- Family Night at the Rodeo- Purchase a rodeo ticket for July 2nd performance and enjoy a free rodeo feed sponsored by Cumulus Radio Stations. Inflatable games for the kids, stick horse races sponsored by Touchstone Energy (Mor Gran Sou, Basin Electric, and Capitol Electric). Stick horses provided by RCC Western Stores, prizes will be awarded.

7:00 pm- Bike Decorating Contest and Parade- sponsored by Ressler Siding & Windows, located at the Depot on Main Street. Open to non-motorized bikes. Judging based on originality and imagination. Age groups 9 & under and 10-16 years old. First place $50, second place $25, third place $10; in each age group. Fun for kids of all ages.

7:30 pm- Mandan's 132nd PRCA Rodeo (Family Night)- Fast paced PRCA rodeo action on stock furnished by Frontier Rodeo Co. - Mutton Bustin- Family Night sponsors are Action Sports and Hirsch Floral. Chuckwagon Racing sponsored by Reiten Television. Ranch Rodeo follows the July 2nd rodeo performance.

8:00 pm.- Official Rodeo Days Dance- Lonesome Dove on the strip. Music by Ashley Buchart, beer garden, food concessions, open patio. Meet your friends after the rodeo.

7:00 am to 11:00 am - KC Councils Pancake Breakfast- in Heritage Park (under the big top tent, east of the Depot) Serving a hearty breakfast of pancakes, sausage and beverage.

9:00 am to 9:00 pm - Art in the Park- Located in Dykshoorn Park & Heritage Park. Over 150 art and craft vendors from a 9 state area. From clothing to jewelry, fine art to pottery, woods or floral, it's all here at this years festival. 23 food booths- a culinary delight. Live entertainment from country music to folk music and more! Check out daily schedule at the bandshell for times and groups playing. West River Winds Band performs tonight.

9:00 am to 9:00 pm- Miss Lil's Old Tyme Photo's- located between the Depot and Beanery Buildings at Art in the Park. The studio offers a flavor to the old west through digital photography. Capture your part of Mandan Rodeo Days thru an old west photo. Located between the Depot and Beanery buildings and Art in the Park

9:00 am to 9:00 pm- Mysterious Black Hole- located on Main St, next to Art in the Park. Step into the ultimate illusion and soar uncontrollably through swirling flames and stars into the blackness of space. Kids of any age can experience and enjoy these unusual sensations.

9:00 am to 9:00 pm- J.T. Inflatable Games- Main Street. Kids have fun while mom and dad visit Art in the Park.

9:00 am to 9:00 pm- Kids Barrel Train Rides-Kids can ride the barrel train up & down Main St. Novelties and other items are available for purchasing

10:00 am- Horsemanship Queen and Princess Pageant- located at Dacotah Centennial Park. Contestants perform their horsemanship abilitiesas part of the pageant. Event is open to the public.

1:00 pm to 4:30 pm- ND Cattlewomen Cook Off- located at Dacotah Centennial Park. Watch teams compete during a cook off for the best burger, steak and beef kabob. Entry with a July 3rd Rodeo ticket.

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm- Covered Wagon Rides-FREE. Relive the old West with a covered wagon ride down Mandan's Main Street, boarding at Art in the Park. Pony Rides: Main Street, kids can experience the thrill of a western experience (fee charged for ride).

5:00 pm to 7:30 pm- American Legion Baseball- Exciting baseball rivalry with Mandan A's vs. Bismarck Reps at 5 pm and the Mandan Chiefs hosting the Bismarck Governors at 7:30 pm, Mandan Legion Ball Diamonds.

6:00 pm- Art in the Park "Doll and Pet Parade"- located in Dykshoorn Park. Kids bring your trikes, wagons, dolls, and pets for your own special parade. Open to kids up to 11 years of age.

7:00 pm- All Class Reunion- located at Heritage Park on Main Street (by Art in the Park). Beer garden, food, class sign up sheets, and D.J. Meet your friends and classmates. Hosted by Mandan Progress Organization.

7:30 pm- Mandan's 132nd PCRA Rodeo Salute to America's Armed Services featuring Frontier Rodeo Stock- Night sponsor is McDonalds. $1000 giveaway sponsored by Clear Channel Radio, chuckwagon racing sponsored by Reiten Television, & mutton bustin. Ranch Rodeo follows July 3rd performance.

8:00 pm- Official Rodeo Days Dance- located at the Lonesome Dove on the strip. Music by Ashley Buchart. Beer garden, concessions, open patio. Meet your friends after the Rodeo.

Monday, July 4th

6:30 am to 7:30 am- Mandan Rodeo Days Annual Road Race & Walk- 10K and 5K Run and 5K Walk on Main Street. Arrive early for the parade to cheer on the contestants or enter yourself. Pre-register for $12 at the Mandan Depot (Five Nations) or for $15 from 6:30 am to 8am on day of race at Five Nations Arts (Mandan Depot) for more information, call Matt Schanandore at 663-4758 or go to fortlincoln.com. ALL RACERS START AT 8:00 am.

Theme of the parade is "Stars on the Prairie" featuring more than 160 units including horses, wagons, marching bands, floats, antique cars and tractors.
